We can share our words with the world, and we can let the world help us become

better learners, readers, and writers.

How word walls help us with our learning:

  • A word wall is a list of words that are related to each other in some way.
  • Word walls help us become more engaged in our learning.
  • Word walls help us learn more effectively.

 

How word walls help us with our writing:

  • Word walls are used to share new, difficult, interesting, or favorite words.
  • Word walls help us enrich our vocabularies and make our writing more interesting.
  • Word walls help us help each other become better writers.
